Take a Step

Kids
We want church to be a place where your entire family is encouraged to draw closer to Christ—your kids included! That's why, during our Sunday morning worship services, New Hope Church offers Children's Church, a fun and engaging environments where children can learn and grow in faith as well.
Lighthouse can be thought of as “Junior Youth.” This ministry is for elementary age school children. Meetings occur Sunday evenings from 5-7 pm with a shared meal with Youth followed by a separate Bible lesson and then music and crafts. Most events for Youth are also open to our Lighthouse kids.
All our kids' programs are designed to be safe places where children in our church can learn new and exciting things about God while being led and cared for by adult volunteers from our congregation. It's our hope to encourage children to not only discover new things about God, but also begin to understand how those things matter in their own lives.

Students/Youth
New Hope Youth is a lively and energetic fellowship for middle and high school age students. We are a welcoming group with an eccentric collection of characters among the kids and leadership. Our ministry consists of weekly meetings, volunteer work projects in the community, and special events.
Youth Meetings- Sunday Evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Begins with a fellowship meal then moves on to a brief Bible lesson and games.
Volunteer Projects- These range from helping in our church food pantry, raking leaves, pressure washing houses, and other odd jobs for members and neighbors.
Events encompass a wide range of fellowship opportunities from karaoke and Nerf to video games and lock-ins. Some are open to the public, some are just for our kids and aimed at our Youth/Children’s interests.
Our overarching goal with New Hope Youth is to create a safe and healthy place for teens to fellowship. Above all, we seek to foster a love of God and a deeper understanding of their place in His will.
