Outreach “Easter Egg Hunt in a Bag”
To be passed out at the Drive-thru Community Meal on April 1

Deadline to return filled bags – Thursday, March 25

Due to Covid concerns, the Outreach Committee is sponsoring an “Easter Egg Hunt in a Bag” in lieu of our traditional Easter Egg Hunt.  We need your help to put 50 bags together with 24 filled eggs and a pack of 16 crayons per bag.  (Crayons are available at the Dollar Store.)  We will provide the bag.  We need you to provide the filled Easter Eggs and crayons to go in the bag.  (Since this is not an outside event, any candy is acceptable to fill the eggs.)  The church will add the Easter story in English and in Spanish and some other treats to the bags.

The empty bags will be available for pick-up beginning March 12 outside the church office.  You may pick up bags and/or bring donations during office hours Monday-Thursday 9am-1 pm.  Deadline – Thursday, March 25.

We need the following items:

Green beans, corn, sweet peas, carrots, mixed vegetables, canned tomatoes, canned pasta, pork & beans, tuna, canned chicken, any kind of beans, dry spaghetti and all kinds of pasta, spaghetti sauce, spam, mac & cheese, ramen noodles, cereal, and jiffy corn bread mix.

Church March Mission Project
Deodorant and disposable diapers (all sizes) for Crisis Control

Dear New Hope Family, one of the decisions made at the Church Council Retreat was to have a “Church Wide” mission project per month.  Some month’s it may be Hurricane/Disaster Relief, other months, like Feb/March, small needed items for Crisis Control Ministry.  For February and March, we will collect deodorant and disposable diapers (all sizes).  Please bring them by the church during regular business hours.  Thank you for being such a “Mission Minded Church”!!      Sincerely in Christ, Pastor Mark
